Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive 3D modelling and analysis for steel structures, focusing on tapered member optimization and high-strength steel application
• Collaborate with the Sales/Proposal team to provide accurate steel tonnage estimates and suggest cost-saving design alternatives
• Develop design philosophies and calculation templates that strictly adhere to SNI (Indonesia), AISC, and MBMA standards.
• Prepare precise structural calculation reports and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for client approval.
• Verify shop drawings and "Bill of Materials" (BOM) produced by the detailing team to ensure 100% accuracy before fabrication.
• Act as the technical point of contact to resolve on-site installation challenges or fabrication queries.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering consultancy, PEB manufacturing, or structural steel fabrication company.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro, Idea Statica, CFS) is an added advantage.

• Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of products, designs, manufacturing processes, procedures and of international and regional building codes and steel design standards.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication in English and the local language.
• Key Attributes: A self-motivated, analytical, and results-driven individual with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
